The Wiri Licensing Trust owns three hospitality venues and commercial real estate assets in South Auckland. Our aim through careful management is to enhance the value of these assets over time while also increasing funding distributions to our community.
Woodside is Manukau’s favourite modern Kiwi bar and restaurant. It’s a place where everyone feels at home. Woodside is down to earth, with a real Kiwi heart, reflecting the many peoples of our wonderful neighbourhood.
An awesome venue for intimate outdoor concerts, with a mouth-watering food menu and a great selection of beer, wine and cider.
There is a fabulous private room available for functions, which is offered for free with a minimum spend on catering.
Our Local is an approachable, friendly and affordable local venue which hosts great live music, broadcasts popular sporting events and has a function room for private meetings and celebrations or watch your favourite team on the big screens.
Our Local has been operating since 1998 and has a rich history in serving the Wiri and Manurewa communities and surrounding businesses. That’s why we called it “Our Local” – it’s easy, comfortable and welcoming and everyone knows it is a great place to relax after work, catch-up with friends, grab a quick bar meal, or shoot some pool.

Wiri Licensing Trust owns investment properties in central Manukau at 639 Great South Road and 185-197 Great South Road, Manurewa. These properties are leased to organisations such as Crispy Kreme, Wendy’s, BNZ, Subway, NZ Racing Board Limited and Carl’s Junior.
These are important assets and the Wiri Licensing Trust responsibly develops, manages and maintains these properties to enhance ongoing net income for distribution to our community.
