Our Woodside Player of the Day certificates were so popular last year that we are bringing them back for 2026!

Wiri Licensing Trust General Manager Kim Green says the certificates are a fantastic way to recognise and reward local children for their dedication to their sport and the team spirit they show every week.

“We love seeing kids out in the fresh air, being active, and this is another way we can encourage that!”

Launched last year for local primary and intermediate teams, the certificates were a big hit.

“We received lots of photos of kids proudly displaying their Player of the Day award and it was fabulous to have them come into Woodside Bar, Dining and Functions to claim their free kids’ meal.”
