Woodside hosts Unity Runclub

Get your Wednesday workout at Woodside Bar, Dining and Functions this Spring with the team from Unity Runclub!

Head along to this free community event at 5.30pm to move your body and connect with a fun group. The first event is on Wednesday, 16 September, then it will be held every following Wednesday.

Victor Lelo, one of the organisers of the event, says everyone is welcome to walk or run either a 2.5km or five-kilometre route.

“Bring your whānau for an afternoon stroll or simply come along and meet new people. Then stay back afterwards to connect and enjoy discounted kai and drinks – you might even take home a spot prize!”

Wiri Licensing Trust Community and Marketing Manager Sophie Rider says Woodside is delighted to host the new runclub event.

“We love the idea of bringing people together to get active, meet others and have some fun. And afterwards, everyone’s welcome to stay on at Woodside to catch up over a meal or a drink – we have alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.”
