We sponsor a variety of groups and events in our community. We will consider sponsorship proposals that offer impact and a wide reach and that prioritise the following areas:

• Volunteer support and recognition – initiatives that recognise, reward or support the volunteers who contribute their time to our community.
• Participation and inclusivity – opportunities that remove barriers, encourage participation and help more people feel included and connected.
• Alignment with Wiri Licensing Trust priorities – initiatives that support our focus areas and create meaningful benefit for the communities we serve.
• Community visibility and connection – opportunities that genuinely connect WLT with local people.
• Local benefit – preference for initiatives benefiting people within the Wiri Licensing Trust area and surrounding South Auckland communities.
• Community wellbeing – initiatives that strengthen communities, create connection, or improve wellbeing.
• Youth and whānau participation – particularly where sponsorship removes barriers to getting involved.
• Mutual Support – groups that actively look for ways to work with WLT in return, including supporting and promoting Woodside, the flagship venue that helps generate funds for our community.
• Value for money – appropriate reach and impact relative to the level of sponsorship requested.
