Last year, the Wiri Licensing Trust invited our community to help us share a little Christmas cheer by nominating a family in need for a special festive meal. The response was incredible — and this year, we’re doing it again, with an even bigger celebration of community spirit.
We’re gifting two $500 vouchers for families to enjoy a delicious meal together at our flagship venue, Woodside Bar, Dining and Functions in Manukau.
This year, we’re looking for nominations for:
- Families who have faced a tough year and deserve a chance to relax and reconnect; and
- Community champions — people who have gone above and beyond for others in South Auckland, generously giving their time, energy or resources to support local groups, whānau or causes.

As a token of our appreciation, the person who nominates each of the two winning recipients will also receive a $100 Woodside voucher.
Nominations close at 5pm on Thursday, 11 December. All nominations will be kept confidential.

Terms and conditions
Nominations must be received by email to the specified address before 5pm on Thursday, 11 December. Nominators and nominees must reside within the Wiri Licensing Trust boundary or contribute to community groups in that area. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash; vouchers are redeemable for dine-in meals and beverages only and expire six months after the closing date. Winners will be notified after Monday, 15 December. If a winner does not respond within seven days of notification of prize, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner may be selected. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Nominators agree to share their contact information with The Wiri Licensing Trust for prize notification. All personal information will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of this promotion. Employees or contractors of the Wiri Licensing Trust and their immediate family members are not eligible to win the $500 vouchers but may participate in the promotion as a nominator. Winners will not be required to participate in any photos or any promotional material. The Wiri Licensing Trust is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected entries or for any technical issues that may affect the entry process. Wiri Licensing Trust reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice, at its sole discretion
